Eastbourne-based independent jeweller W Bruford held an exclusive event in partnership with luxury watch brand Rolex, raising £3,500 for local charity, St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

The event took place at  Herstmonceux Castle, which was lit up in green to symobolise Rolex, and over 100 guests were treated to a champagne reception, three course meal and a presentation from keynote speaker and explorer Kenton Cool, who has summited Mount Everest 15 times.

Over the course of the evening, the retailer raised over £3,500 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice through sales of Limited Edition Fortytude Gin from Seaford Distillery Harley House and sales of raffle tickets to win a piece of ruby and diamond jewellery worth £5,000.

Commenting on the jeweller’s LinkedIn page, a representative from W Bruford, said: “We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the team at

Herstmonceux, Kenton and all our attendees for being part of such a wonderful evening, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.”

In October this year, the independent jeweller announced the business will relocate to 10 Cornfield Road in Eastbourne.
